What Is Rubber Grommet？

The grommet is made of rubber or another flexible material. Its design typically includes a flange that sits on the surface of the host material and a groove that snaps securely into the hole, allowing pipes and cables to pass through. The primary purpose of a rubber grommet is to cover the sharp edges of the hole, preventing damage through abrasion or cutting to whatever passes through it. This protection is essential for preventing wear and tear on cables and hoses, thereby extending their lifespan and maintaining their integrity. 

In addition, blind hole rubber grommets do not allow cables to pass through, and they seal unused holes in materials such as metal, plastic, or other surfaces.
